ION Exchange Resins

The IonPlus range of Ion Exchange Resins is well known for their high quality performance and economical price. Filchem can now offer the full range of Resins from the standard Cation or Anion, up to monodispersed, macroporous, or inert resins for various specific applications. IonPlus Ion Exchange resins can be regenerated easily and repeatedly for long life and performance.

These resins complement Filchem's already significant suite of water treatment products. In water treatment applications, the IonPlus range is designed for use as a water softener, for example, in boiler feed water applications, or for de-mineralising prior to filtration through a RO or UF unit.

Many chemical, mining and industrial processes require highly pure water for which ion exchange resins are designed. They also suitable for ultrapure electronic grade water.

IonPlus Resins are available in 25 Litre bags and come in 42 bags per pallet.

Our most commonly sold products include:

CA-10. Strong Acid: Cation, used as a water softener to remove, Ca, Mg, etc. Ideal for use in boiler feed water or pre-RO in conjunction with AN-20.

AN-20. Strong Base Anion: reduce alkalinity and remove non-metals such as Sulphates, Chlorine, etc.

MB-30. Mixed Bed Resin: containing both Anion and Cation resins, for electronics and ultrapure water.

Macroporous Resins: where highest performance is required due to heavy organic fouling. Available in both
Anion and Cation.

Monodispersed Resins: Available in Cation or Anion. Uniform particle sized beads result in lower pressure differential through the bed. Generally would not be required for water treatment, rather for specific target molecule capture in-process (e.g. sugar decolourising, pharmaceutical, etc).
